You already subliminally know Jerry Peel's contribution to the world of recorded music, having heard his soaring French Horn sound on hundreds of radio and television commercials, Hollywood films and recordings of an impressive array of top jazz and pop stars. "My musical career has provided a natural segue into abstract expression. I find musical meaning and overtones in everything I paint, whether in composition, blending of colors, understanding form or searching for creative inspiration."
You now have the opportunity to experience his visual compositions of vibrant, colorful abstract paintings as he makes public a new side of his artistic discipline.
"Music and art have both been a huge part of my life from childhood. My mother had eight siblings, the sisters all artists and the brothers, all musicians. So, I have literally been surrounded by the arts my entire life. While the musical side of my life demanded total discipline, the visual arts side laid largely dormant. I now feel the need to create and share emotions on canvas. My hope is that each painting elicits a feeling or emotion in the viewer. I think of each piece as a visual representation, like a snapshot, of an emotion. The magic happens when each person views the painting through his or her own private filters. Hopefully, each will experience a unique and special meaning."

Jerry's first solo recording project showcasing his extraordinary range and facility. A selection of original compositions for horn in commercial musical settings - as you've seldom heard the horn before.
Heart's Journey
A selection of thirteen compositions revealing a snapshot of the soul of the horn as well as that of its player. "Heart's Journey has brought me in contact with some incredibly talented and passionate composers, arrangers and musicians. Along the way, I asked some of them to join with me in creating expressive settings for the horn which would give me the opportunity to share my love of the horn's song with others.

IN STERIO is a rare blending of sounds from flutists and Miyazawa Artists, Shivhan Dohse and Erica Peel. Their unique vision of fusing classical flute training with mainstream music challenges the conventional ideas of the flute sound and repertoire. In Sterio has an inimitable gift of incorporating impressive flute playing with diverse and eclectic music that is both innovative and entertaining. Their performances have been described as "creative" and "electric", noting that "the artists moved with stylistic verve", and "brought the house down and everyone wanted to hear more!"
